The cops didn't find a damn thing because they never looked. It was the suspect who looked at the door and spotted his money. He had to solve a crime commited right in front of him. Had he not saw his money, they probably would have charged him, then prosecuted him for false allegations. Why is everybody in the comment section surprised to see a cop stealing money 😂 This stuff happens often here, i seen it and been through it growing up in the hood. Quick story: My ex father law got caught with a car full of weed and money by PD. Later during he was left stranded in the fields while one cop drove the car he was in and the other cop followed his partner. He walked home and was not arrested 😂

If I was an honorable cop who didn't steal, I'd be begging my fellow officers to search me and my car in front of the suspect (who was extremely respectful, considering the circumstances, btw) to show everyone I am not a crook. I get that many suspects lie and try to cause problems with police, but the cop was acting shady and the suspect was making too much sense to ignore like they did for so long. Of course, the cop should have put the money and other belongings in a bag and sealed it on camera before going anywhere and allowed the one counting the money to unseal it on camera. He shouldn't have loose money where he hands over most of it while skimming $900 off the top.

I personally know many people who told me the police stole their money. It’s a regular thing & rare for them to get caught due to their authority. Lots of cops take the money
